The Teufelberger antiSHOCK Tool Chainsaw Lanyard with Ring is an innovation for arborists developed by TEUFELBERGER. It is a versatile lanyard for various tree care tools.

What makes this lanyard for tools so special is how it absorbs forces. In the event that more than 220 – 240 daN act on the lanyard – for example, if your saw gets stuck in a branch you are trying to cut off – the tear webbing will be activated. This reduces the force that acts on the harness, the fall protection system, and the anchor point of the climber to 150 – 180 daN. Thus, our antiSHOCK Tool Lanyard helps prevent injuries.

Functionality of the tear webbing:

The webbing is torn open until the impact force has been absorbed. If the saw does not come unstuck again, for example, the webbing will tear open completely after 70 cm, and the tool will drop to the ground. Due to a special pretreatment of the yarns, the elastic webbing is exceptionally abrasion resistant.

New England’s “Dynaglide” Endura 12 throw line is made of 100% Dyneema for low stretch and light-weight. This pre-stretched, tension set 12-strand has a slick smooth finish and glides easily over crotches for better performance with lighter throw weights.

DynaGLIDE is a coated throwline that, due to its neon colors, is easily visible in trees. Its coating provides for very little elongation and better gliding characteristics on bark.

THROW WEIGHT

Throw bags are pretty simple, they are designed specifically to attach throwline to and then tossed up into a tree and over a limb. Once you do that you can attach your main rope (climbing rope or rigging line) to the tail end of the throw line and pull it up to the tree.

The Big Shot is designed to launch a throw weight and line over a tree limb so a friction saver or climbing line can be pulled into place.

A vertical distance of over 100′ can be acheived with great accuracy. The Big Shot head is designed to fit quick connect fiberglass poles to set up in seconds. Not for use with wooden poles.
